Armoire had been sitting in a basement for over 10 years. Locks were missing , and numerous structural repairs were needed to restore the piece. There were also 6 layers of paint. Armoire is primarily Poplar. We stained the piece to give it a softer look and then hand applied 4 coalts of polyurethane finish and completed the piece by waxing with Butcher's Amber Pase Wax
